On July 14th, we gathered at Manchester Alliance Church for a meaningful event exploring the divine connection through art.
The event featured a captivating Ebru art show, an Islamic tradition that celebrates God's perfection and order, accompanied by Ney music, a traditional Sufi sound that enhances spiritual expression.
A touching Christian hymn performed with guitar and a thought-provoking drama about the struggle between good and evil added depth to the experience.
"Time to Help (UK)" and "Human Rights Solidarity" presented a thoughtful Humanity Cartoons exhibition, raising awareness on the challenges faced by refugees.
Additionally, there was an informative presentation on the place of art in Islam, highlighting how artistic expression is deeply woven into the fabric of Islamic culture and spirituality.
We also enjoyed beautiful violin performances and enchanting melodies from the saz, connecting us all to the divine.
